The publisher’s description of the book really says it all:

The right words don’t always come easily. Sometimes we’re so afraid to say the wrong thing that we say nothing at all or resort to clichés. But with a little help you can share the perfect message that will draw you nearer to friends and loved ones.

This book offers examples and guidelines for things to say, lines to write, and Scripture verses to share. Full of encouraging messages organized by category–sympathy, thank-yous, congratulations, etc.–it will help you save time while strengthening your relationships. You will find the right words for formats old and new: Facebook messages, emails, cards, texting, receiving lines, birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, weddings, funerals, and more. You’ll even discover what not to say.

As someone who struggles to find the “right” words to say in certain situations, I find this book will be a helpful resource to stimulate my mind to express the proper sentiment in a variety of situations.

This book is written from a Christian perspective and each chapter provides suggestions on how to express your thoughts in different situations.  The author also includes scripture references for each situation.  Chapters cover everything from grief, gratitude, sick and suffering, birthdays, weddings and engagements, celebrations, events and activities, and truth and love.  There is even a chapter for finding the rights words for cyberspace.

I readily recommend this book a resource that will be referred to for years to come.
